BSSR 12th Skeletal Radiology Refresher
Course Cardiff 18-19 March 2010
On behalf of the BSSR it is a great honour for me to welcome
you to Cardiff, Wales to attend the 12th BSSR Refresher Course on
18th and 19th of March 2010. The Closed meeting will be held on
Wednesday 17th of March in the City Hall Cardiff.
The meeting will be held at the City Hall in Cardiff and the
Conference Dinner on 18th of March will be held at the National
Museum.
The refresher course will run in two parallel streams covering
a wide range of musculoskeletal imaging topics. There will be a
strong orthopaedic clinical input for the sessions on the knee,
shoulder, hip and cartilage. The refresher course has been
organised into two streams enabling delegates to choose from a
wide variety of topics. The aim is to produce a meeting reviewing
state of the art musculoskeletal imaging and also to look at
emerging musculoskeletal imaging techniques. There will be a
hands-on musculoskeletal ultrasound course running in parallel.
Cardiff is a modern European city with strong cultural and
sporting traditions. For those seeking a break from the conference
the National Museum is at hand with its stunning collection of
Impressionist paintings and national treasures. Cardiff Castle
with its strong influence from the Marquis of Bute and monies
raised from the prosperity of coal mining is again on hand and a
real jewel of Burgess architecture. For those with a little more
time there is the opportunity to visit the Senedd, the home of the
Welsh Assembly Government and the adjacent Wales Millennium Centre
the home of the Welsh National Opera.
The BSSR Members Dinner will be held at the Park Plaza on
Wednesday 17th March 2010. An allocation of rooms is being held at
the hotel for the BSSR. These will need to be booked early to
avoid disappointment
